Is your family “less than perfect?” Do family gatherings fill you with worry as well as excitement?
If so, you’re not alone. No family is perfect, but some are truly dysfunctional. One lesson that’s often overlooked in the Bible is that this is nothing new. One read through Genesis, the very first book, will show you more dysfunctional families than you probably ever thought were in the Bible! BUT, it will show you something else, too: how God never fails to bring blessing out of them.
Join us this Sunday as we tell one of those stories and learn to find Hope for our Families!
New Member Sunday
We will have a New Member Sunday on May 21st at both the 8:30 & 10:55 services. If you are interested in becoming a member of First United Methodist Church, please let either Pastor Jeff or Lisa Dale know. You can contact them at the church office (662-2386). What a great way to expand your faith!
Graduation Recognition Sunday
Graduation Recognition Sunday is fast approaching. If you know someone whom you would like to have recognized for graduation this year, please fill out an information form by Sunday, May 14th.
Thank you to the congregation men and rummage sale committee for all the help and support for the sale and luncheon. We couldn’t do it without you. Trudy Lingle & Freda Troyer
Have you linked your Dillons Plus card with the church? If you do, a portion of all your normal purchases will go to support our ministries! You can set it up by clicking here or contact the office if you’d like help.
Have you hugged Your Mother lately?
